Thistledown – Woodland Glade Mural – Multi

Thistledown is a scenic mural rather than a repeating wallpaper. Pink and magenta hydrangeas, purple wisteria and hanging yellow laburnum mass across the top and down both sides to form a flowering arch, and through it the scene opens onto a still lake with mountains beyond and birch trees and conifers along the far shore. A stag and a doe stand at the water's edge. A bird crosses the open sky, a butterfly rests in the foliage, and tulips and ferns fill the foreground.

Because the flowers only mass at the top and sides, the centre of the scene stays open — the lake, the mountains and the stag and doe at the water's edge are what the eye lands on, not the border around them.
