Hands up who loves Autumn? Our Nelson based artist Nester does! As a pretty keen forager there is no better season for discovering a plethora of mushrooms. Autumn brings a beauty and colour out in the bush as well as crunchy leaves and busy insects, Now  we can spot the fairy-tale fly Agaric, the delicate orange peel fungus and our stunning Werewere-Kōkako mushroom.

Also (but not endorsed by Pango and Ma or The Inside) it is a time for the yummy foraged mushroom edibles to be fried up in butter. The shaggy ink cap and porcini the king of mushrooms can often be spotted in local parks.
