Ngā Hononga is a kōwhaiwhai design by Aho Creative, printed on a wide sheer: bold, flowing koru forms interlace across the fabric, each filled with fine hand-drawn line work. The name means “the connections” – a nod to whakapapa, and the relationships that link us to one another, to place and to people.
The curves run on with no obvious start or finish, so a length of fabric reads as one moving surface. With daylight filtering through the sheer, the line work softens and the colour glows rather than shouts – a room gains warmth and a story without losing its light.
For anyone who wants their home to feel rooted in Aotearoa. Four colourways: Ahi (rust on cream), Pukepoto (deep navy), Pukohu (sage on cream) and Tai Moana (sea green on deep teal).
