Stumbled upon by Harry at 12 Grimmauld Place, the Black Family Tapestry weaves together the ancient and modern lineage of his godfather Sirius, whose portrait, alongside those of other disgraced family members, has been burnt out of the tapestry. Our pattern features the infamous witches and wizards of the Noble and Most Ancient House of Black from Harry’s arch-nemesis Draco Malfoy to notorious Death Eater Bellatrix Lestrange. Inspired by medieval wall hangings, MinaLima used the tradition of an ancestral tree to represent the family ties between the ancient pureblood houses and to display the breadth of the family’s prestigious heritage in the wizarding world.

You don't even have to be a diehard follower of the series—or even a casual fan—to appreciate these designs. Although designed perhaps with kiddies in mind, there's nothing kiddie about them!  The attention to detail is incredible. There's one inspired by ornate, classical tapestries, which details (spoiler alert!) misunderstood wizard Sirius Black's twisted family tree. Another resembles the covers of books you'd find in the Hogwarts library, with references to the seven novels.
